Parents in Kentucky can check for thousands of sex offenders by street and city online. The sex offender registry will allow parents to see a written list of sex offenders around the area in which you are planning to trick-or-treat.

Registered sex offenders are required to update their address in the registry within three days of moving to a new home or face legal consequences, according to state officials.
Indiana and Ohio have made an interactive map for a similar purpose.
