Wrongful Death Man Pleads Guilty in Connection to 2010 Murder of Couple

A suspect in a high-profile Madison County murder case pleaded guilty to charges including complicity to commit murder.

Lebruce Ellington was charged with his involvement in the 2010 deaths of Sonsaray Warford and Charles Walker. Family members were surprised when they received the call Tuesday night about the plea deal.

Ellington formally pleaded guilty to two counts of complicity to commit murder, two counts of complicity to kidnapping, complicity to burglary and being a persistent felony offender.

The Commonwealth’s Attorney recommended a sentence of 35 years on the six charges to run concurrently.
