An Albertville man has been arrested for traveling to meet a child for sex, according to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin and Investigator Adam Chapman.
David Lee Stephens, 42, also is charged with interference with custody.
Stephens allegedly picked up a 15-year-old female and took her to a residence for the purpose of committing a sex act.

He currently is in the Marshall County Jail for an unrelated charge – possession of obscene material, according the Marshall County Inmate Database. He was jailed Dec. 15 on a $10,000 bond.
Stephens will be brought to the Etowah County Detention Center at a later time with a $50,000 cash bond.
