A Pulaski County woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, two victims were ejected from a 2002 Chevrolet Corvette on East Highway 70 in Eubank,
Witnesses told police that the vehicle was heading West when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle. The automobile left the roadway, struck a concrete culvert and embankment before becoming airborne. The car flipped several times before coming to rest in a field. The operator, Timothy J. Barron, Jr. age 37 of Eubank, Kentucky and Rhonda Sandidge, age 50, of Eubank, Kentucky were both ejected from the vehicle.

Both victims were treated at the scene by Somerset-Pulaski County EMS. Barron was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Sandidge was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
The crash is still under investigation at this time.
