A man accused of manufacturing child pornography was sentenced Thursday in Nez Perce County Court.
Donald Damon Junior, of Lewiston, was charged with three counts of child sexual abuse by photographing and electronic recording, and one count of felony injury to a child for allegedly burning the child with a meth pipe.
According to court records, Damon Jr. had been recording a child performing sexual acts on himself and the boy’s brother.

“This crime involved a five-year-old boy, and the things the defendant did to this five-year-old boy are some of the worst things I have ever had to see,” said April Smith, Chief Deputy Prosecutor.
Damon Junior’s attorney claimed he committed these acts due to methamphetamine use, but Judge Jay Gaskill disagreed. He denied a request for Damon Jr. to be placed on a rider program, instead sentencing him to between ten to 30 years in prison.
