Missing Person Vigil Held For Missing Persons Around Kentucky

People still searching for answers after their loved ones disappeared. They gathered today to support each other and celebrate the lives of those they say are missing, but not forgotten.

Imagine someone you love disappearing one day, never to be seen again.

“It’s been horrendous. There is no way to explain the pain and the torment you go through every day,” said Sandra Hasty, Michael Gorley’s Mother.

For Michael Gorley’s family that nightmare is a reality.

“I know my son’s not with us anymore. He’ll be considered missing until they can find his remains,” said Hasty.

It’s been two years and three days since Michael went missing. Saturday his family gathered with other families who have lost loved ones.

“I can communicate with the loss of a child. It’s not something that is very easy,” said Ava Reams, who lost her daughter to an overdose.

As well as advocates who offer a support system to victims’ families.

“For the family’s that have loved one that are missing, they’re always in the world of the unknown because they don’t have the answers that they need,” said Dona McIntyre, Advocate at Missing Not Forgotten.

More than 90 victims were honored today some families still searching for information…

“I think that’s the worse part for everyone, not having that closure and not having answers for anything,” said Jordan Kash, family friend of Linda Price.

Michael Gorley’s family says, while investigators have been able to some insight to what happened to him, they’re still determined to get closure on the matter and bring Michael home

“I don’t care what happened or who did it. We just my sons remains,” said Hasty.
