Kentucky Kingdom has announced that 11 credit card numbers were stolen and then used to purchase season passes at the park’s early bird discount price of $59.95.
They say that people were then induced to buy these passes at even greater discounts.
So far, 640 passes worth $38,000 have been purchased in this manner, but officials with Kentucky Kingdom say that that number could grow as the investigation continues.

The illegally purchased passes are invalid and will not be honored by the park.
Card holders whose numbers were stolen and used for these purchases will receive full refunds.
