Kentucky State Police detectives are on the scene of a death investigation on North Wilderness Road in Rockcastle County.
They said they got a call from the Mount Vernon Police Department after a man and woman were found dead in a home about 6:40 Thursday morning.
The man and woman have been identified as William H. Bryant, 36, and Chara L. Bryant, 35, both of Mount Vernon. Their bodies will be taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

Police say they’re not sure about the cause of death.
Troopers say that they are still looking for any answers as to what led up to the deaths. They are trying to get a search warrant for the property which is common in cases where the homeowners have passed away.
Troopers say the person who called 911 was a woman who lives at the home. She has no reported injuries.
