Missing Persons Scott Guseman

LEAGUE CITY, Texas – All resources are being thrown at finding a missing husband and father from League City. Texas EquuSearch will be using high tech equipment to help find Scott Guseman and his missing truck.

Both haven’t been seen since Monday morning. That’s when Scott left home, headed for work and never made it. His loved ones say he’s a family man, a guy whose social calendar is always booked and would never intentionally disappear.

Inside the couple’s League City home, all felt right in April Guseman’s world. She and husband Scott are weeks away from their 25th wedding anniversary.

“We are planning a nice weekend in San Antonio for our 25th wedding anniversary,” she said.

First she needs help finding him.

“You’ve got a situation where a person has gotten in their vehicle and just disappeared,” said Bob Walcutt, Laura Recovery Center.

Volunteers with the LRC set up a command post in the parking lot of the Kemah Walmart. Scott was last seen around 8:00 A.M. Monday at the store’s gas station buying cigarettes. About two hours later either Scott or someone else withdrew $100. League City Police are investigating and trying to determine where the withdrawal was made. Since then there’s been no further activity and no sign of foul play.

“The one thing I do know is that he would never just leave voluntarily. I know that. There’s no question in my mind. There’s no question in anybody’s mind that he would ever go voluntarily without contacting us,” said April Guseman.

Volunteers with flyers in their cars are driving from Galveston to Houston looking for Scott’s truck, a 2007 red, Dodge Ram two-door, long bed pick up. It has Texas license plate 84BLT6.

April says Scott left home Monday morning the same way he always does.

“We walk out together at about 7 A.M. and kiss in the driveway, get in our cars and leave,” she said.

Now she and the couple’s two adult sons are just waiting for him to come back.
