BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. – Michelle Duffey, a spokeswoman for the Attorney General’s office tells NEWS10 investigators are at Saratoga Nissan in Ballston Spa on Wednesday, along with State Police and DMV Officials, investigating possible consumer fraud.
A search warrant was issued Wednesday afternoon in which officials removed boxes of business documents and records from the dealership in connection with an ongoing consumer fraud investigation.

The AG’s office is not being specific as to the types of complaints received at this time, in order to protect the investigation. Duffey says no charges are filed in the investigation.
NEWS10 spoke with one customer who bought a car from Saratoga Nissan two months ago. The mother of two children from Colonie says under her initial agreement with the car dealership was to pay $475 a month. However she started receiving bills that she owns $555. She says it’s a payment she can’t afford.
According to sources at the Attorney General’s office, more than 60 people have come forward since Wednesday. The Attorney General asks that if any customer feels they may have been a victim to a fraudulent transaction by Saratoga Nissan to contact the AG’s consumer fraud bureau at 1-800-771-7755.
