Police in Lexington are searching for a man who robbed a bank on the southeast side of city Friday afternoon.
The robbery happened at about 3 p.m. at the PNC Bank on Woodhill Drive. Police say the suspect approached a teller and made a verbal demand for money. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is a black male, 6’0:, 160 -180 lbs, late 20’s to early 30’s. He was last seen wearing a white ball cap (unknown logo on front of cap), a light color Polo style shirt, khaki pants and white sneakers. The suspect was last seen walking away from the bank.
