A Taylor County man accused of killing his great-grandmother is facing more charges.

20-year-old Jessie Durham is charged with murdering 77-year-old Elizabeth Arinsmier. The Central Kentucky News Journal reports Durham now faces a charge of third-degree assault of a corrections officer.
The paper reports Durham refused to leave his cell at the Taylor County Detention Center and struck a deputy in the face.
