The temperature in Louisville Monday topped 90, and the heat was fatal for a baby left in a car for hours before being discovered.
The nine-month old baby boy was found dead, strapped in the car seat.
Police were called to the home in the 6400 block of Glenwood Road at around 6:00 pm Monday.

The car where the baby boy was found dead was parked just outside the parents’ home.
The baby’s parents were taken in for questioning. The Louisville Police spokesperson says no charges have been filed yet, and the case will be turned over to the Commonwealth’s Attorney.
