ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Tax season may be over but tax fraud investigators are keeping busy.
On Monday morning agents raided a tax and accounting businesses located inside a home in Northeast Albuquerque.
Agents from Tax and Revenue have been working this case from months and believe Flora’s Tax and Account Services was committing tax fraud to the tune of thousands of dollars.

Investigators believe Flora Mascarena was filing fraudulent tax returns, although at this time they are not sure whether she was acting alone.
On Monday investigators served a warrant on the business and seized computers, laptops and financial records. Tax and Rev would not go into further details about the investigator or how long they believe this had been going on.
At this time no one has been arrested or charged in connection with the fraud investigation, although that could soon change.
