Two people on a motorcycle were hurt in an accident in Garrard County Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened at about 4 p.m. just outside of Bryantsville in a construction zone on U.S. 27. Police say a utility truck was heading south on 27 when the driver shifted lanes into oncoming traffic and hit the motorcycle.

A woman on the motorcycle was flown to UK Hospital with non life-threatening injuries to her left ankle. The man driving the motorcycle was taken to UK via ambulance with an injury to his hand.
The driver of the utility truck was not injured.
Police say it is not yet clear why the driver of the truck went into the other lane of the road.
