Pennsylvania state police are looking for a 63-year-old man reported missing on Thursday.
Richard P. Holmes’ last known location Wednesday was at Interstate 81 mile marker 207.7 in Lenox Township, Susquehanna County, where he called his employer to say he was stuck in traffic, police said. He never showed up to work Wednesday or Thursday and didn’t return home, police said.

His vehicle was found abandoned on the roadside, with his cell phone and personal items left behind, police said. It’s unknown where Holmes might have gone. A search was conducted Thursday with state police, Clifford Fire/EMS, and the Susquehanna County Sheriff’s Office and K-9 unit.
Holmes is described as about 5 foot 10 and 170 pounds with blue eyes and white hair.
