Attorney General Jack Conway on Friday announced the indictment of a Harrodsburg man for possession of child pornography.
A Mercer County grand jury indicted 33-year-old Robert David Spaulding on July 18 on one count of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, a Class D felony.
Spaulding was arrested last night by the Harrodsburg Police Department and is jailed in lieu of a $5,000 cash bond. Conway’s Cybercrimes Unit began investigating Spaulding following a citizen complaint on March 28, 2012.

Since its creation in June of 2008, General Conway’s Cybercrimes Unit has launched nearly 300 child pornography investigations, seized more than 322,000 child pornographic images and videos and won more than 100 child pornography convictions. The unit is also a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).
