PACIFICA — Authorities are asking the public for help in locating a 76-year-old Pacifica woman who has been missing for nearly three days.
Officers said Maria “Marlies” Jansen was last seen by her husband near their Park Pacifica home sometime before 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Search and rescue teams from San Mateo, Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, Napa, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey and the California Explorer SAR assisted Pacifica Police Department in their search for Jansen throughout the latter portion of the week, but as of Saturday had not located her.

Jansen is 5’5, weighs 100 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing yellow garden shoes or boots, police said.
