A sixth-grader is okay after a man in a truck allegedly tried to abduct her at a bus stop in Lexington Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at about 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of St. Margaret and St. Julie Drive. The 12-year-old girl says a man approached her in a dark truck, and told her to get in. The first attempt didn’t work, and neither did the second. That’s when the girl’s mother said the man began cussing at her daughter.

The girl ran back to her home not too far away and told her mom about what happened. She called police, and was able to give officers a good description of the vehicle. It is a dark Ford F150 with tinted windows and damage on the back. When LEX 18 talked to the mother she wanted to make sure other parents are on the look out for this truck, too.
