Wrongful Death Man Accused of Killing Girlfriend Found Guilty

A man accused of murdering his girlfriend and dismembering her body was found guilty of murder and abuse of a corpse Wednesday.

Paris Charles is accused of killing Goldia Massey at his home back in October of 2014. Her torso washed up on the banks of the Kentucky River in Jessamine County in December. Her severed arm was found a month earlier in Henry County.

The defense told jurors that while there is proof that someone tried to conceal a death, there is absolutely no proof that Goldia was murdered. Charles’ attorney called him an honorable man.

The prosecution rebutted saying that there was more than enough DNA and cell phone evidence to prove that Charles is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

After finding him guilty, the jury recommended a 35-year sentence for murder and 12 months for dismemberment plus a $500 fine for dismemberment.

Pedophile Tracking Mishawaka, Ind. Woman Pleads Guilty to Child Molesting

A Mishawaka woman, who was facing child molesting charges in connection to a sexually violent predator, has taken a plea agreement.

Angela Warren pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of child molesting on Monday.

She’ll be sentenced on September 20.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Court documents say Warren had sex with a child she and Joseph Anderson repeatedly gave alcohol and marijuana to.

Anderson first watched them, then participated.

Anderson was sentenced Friday to 60 years in prison. He admitted to molesting 38 children.

Prosecutors say that’s the most victims they’ve ever had with a single molester.

Private Detective: Three Arrested in Connection to Woodford County Armed Robbery

Three people are in jail tonight, accused of robbing a Woodford County restaurant in the early morning hours.

Stunned neighbors watched as they were arrested inside a Midway home, and put in the back of police cruisers.

“It’s a little surprising for us because we think of Midway as a quiet safe area, so it’s kind of disconcerting to see four cop cars across the street,” said Sonya Keith.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

Just before 6:00 Tuesday night, police arrested and charged Amber Larkins, Caleb Cook, and Anthony Strange in connection with the robbery.

It was an investigation that began much earlier in the morning with an armed robbery at Rachel’s Kitchen along Old Frankfort Pike.

“Two subjects that entered the store, and they got out of the store with an undetermined amount of cash,” said Sgt. Daniel Clark with the Versailles Police Department.

Police say one of the robbers lives in Midway home, and when detectives arrived, all three suspects were inside.

“For a few minutes, one of the suspects barricaded himself in the bathroom inside the residence. But just after a few minutes of talking with him, that situation was taken care of,” said Sgt. Clark.

“We’re glad they responded and took care of it quickly because we have a lot of children in the neighborhood that play around here,” said Keith.

All three are at the Woodford County Detention Center. Police also charged them in connection with kidnapping and wanton endangerment.
