Missing Person Jessica Howard of Waverly, OH

A Waverly woman has been reported missing, and the Columbus Police Missing Persons Unit, along with the Waverly Police Department, are investigating her disappearance in hopes of discovering her whereabouts.

The 34 year-old woman is listed under two names in the Waverly Police Department Leads law enforcement database — Jessica Nicole Howard or Jessica Nicole Staton. She is described as being 5’ 3” tall, 117 pounds, with red hair.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

“She lives in Waverly, but she works in Columbus,” said Sgt. Joe Taylor, of the Waverly PD. “I personally spoke with her mother who has been in contact with a detective from the Columbus Police Department, as her last known location was Columbus.”

Staton, a home health nurse and mother of three, was reported missing by her family after she was gone for nearly two weeks with no contact with her mother or children. In a report with WSYX, Staton’s mother reported that she has been caring for clients when she went missing.

“She was in Columbus the last time the family was able to get in contact with her, so the report was filed there,” said Waverly Police Chief Larry Roe. “Staton’s mother initially contacted our office to see what she could do when she was unable to contact her daughter.”

At this time, Staton is listed in the Waverly PD Leads database as a missing person, according to Sgt. Taylor.

“If any law enforcement officer comes into contact with her, it will come back in the system,” he said. “Those with any information regarding Staton’s whereabouts are asked to call the Waverly Police Department at (740) 947-2179.”

Identity Theft Police Looking for Men Who Installed Skimmer At Walmart

Fort Wright police are looking for two men who installed a skimmer at a self-service checkout counter in Walmart.

Police say the skimmer was installed May 11th and wasn’t discovered until a week later.

Customers’ valuable information is now in the hands of the two thieves.

“I’m pretty disgusted that people would do that in our community and steal from hard working people. It’s kind of disheartening that they would do that,” customer Michelle Frisch told LEX 18.

This latest method to steal personal information has customers choosing safety over the convenience of self-service checkouts.
