Private Detective: Fugitive Arrested in Lexington

A fugitive was apprehended and charged with trafficking narcotics and attempted murder of a police officer last week.

David “Drummer Dave” Suarez, 38, was arrested on Thursday, March 24th.

Lexington Police say officers located Suarez during a traffic stop on Man O’ War Boulevard near Clearwater Way.

During the traffic stop police found heroin, methamphetamine, a large amount of cash and a loaded handgun in his possession.

The search for Suarez started after an investigation in December 2015 where officers searched Suarez’s home and found methamphetamine, heroin, pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Suarez is charged with two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in heroin, two counts of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of handgun by convicted felon.

Suarez is lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.

Missing Person Possible Break in 24 Year Old Missing Person Case

Authorities have possibly found a break in a 24-year-old missing person case.

Anna Lee Manning went missing from Danville in November of 1992.  She was 23-years-old at the time of her disappearance and had a young daughter.

Investigators are swarming a property in a small residential neighborhood on Spring Valley Road, half of the road is in Boyle County and the other half is in Lincoln. Sources tell LEX 18 that the search of the property is actually happening on the Lincoln County side and is in conjunction with Manning’s disappearance.

Exact details are not being released at this time.

They have used a backhoe and other tools to search the property. They moved a shed during their search.

Responding agencies include FBI, KSP, Boyle and Lincoln County Sheriff Departments. They have been searching the property since about 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Neighbors tell LEX 18 that the property is owned by the family of Anthony Manning, who married Anna Lee in 1985.

Missing Person AZ Police Search for San Diego Man

The Casa Grande Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.

Johnny B. Meier, 63, was last seen leaving his residence on the 1100 Block of 6th Ave in Casa Grande, AZ on the afternoon of Thursday, March 24, 2016 at approximately 4:00 p.m. and has not been located since.

He told neighbors that he was going to go four wheeling at Casa Grande Mountain in Arizona. He was last seen driving a 1994 Blue/Grey Ford Explorer 4 door with Arizona Handicapped Plate GYW93.

Mr. Meier suffers from Dementia and has relatives in the San Diego area.  He may have headed to San Diego. He has recently mention that he wanted to visit California to visit his kids.

Mr. Meier is described as a white male, 5’9″ tall weighing approximately 165 pounds.  He has hazel eyes, grey/bald hair.  He was last seen wearing a black tank top, black jeans, black boots, and a black baseball cap with a Harley Davison logo.

Private Detective: Man Wanted in Connection With Lexington Robberies Arrested

A man wanted in connection with robberies at two Lexington gas stations was arrested Sunday.

Jesse R. Walker, 48, is charged with two counts of robbery 1st degree and one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle stemming from an earlier unrelated warrant.

On March 22, officers responded to a robbery at the Thorntons gas station on North Broadway around 9:00 p.m.

Several hours later they responded to a robbery at the Minit Mart/ Shell Station on West New Circle.

While serving the unrelated misdemeanor warrant on Sunday, an officer recognized Walker from surveillance footage of the two robberies.

Walker was interviewed by a detective and charged with two counts of robbery 1st degree.

Private Detective: Man Accused of Shooting At Mother With Sub-Machine Gun

Lexington Police have arrested a man who allegedly shot about six rounds at his mother through a door in their home.

It happened at their home on Harvest Drive over the weekend. According to  his arrest citation, Danny Tinsley fired a sub-machine gun at his mother through her bedroom door. He did not hit her.

Police arrested Tinsley on Monday afternoon at El Rodeo Western Wear on Alexandria Drive. When he was taken into custody, police say a sub-machine gun was found in a black box in his possession.

Tinsley is charged with wanton endangerment and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He will be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in court.

Private Detective: Police Looking For Brodhead Pharmacy Burglar

Authorities in Rockcastle County are asking for the public’s help after a pharmacy was broken into.

Employees at Brodhead Pharmacy tell LEX 18 that a person shattered a front glass window of the pharmacy before doing even more damage while stealing prescription medication.

The break-in happened around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday morning in downtown Brodhead.

The burglar was able to get to the pharmacy area through a shudder that he pried up.

Employees tell us that the amount of prescription medication stolen was minimal, but the damage done to the inside of the pharmacy will cost them the most.

Pharmacy leaders say that they are setting up security including the installment of metal bars across the front windows and additional security cameras.

Missing Person Laurel Co. Sheriff’s Office Looking For Missing Girl

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says they are looking for a missing juvenile.

16-year-old Haley Alexis Lambert is said to have left her relative’s house on Barbourville Road around noon after a disagreement.

She has not been located by her grandparents.

Lambert is described as a white female with brown hair, below shoulder length. She has brown eyes. She is 5’10’’.

She was last seen wearing jeans, a blue t-shirt, and green and blue Nike shoes.

Accident Reconstruction Four Hospitalized After Frankfort Crash

Police say four people were hospitalized after a car crash on US 60 in Frankfort.

They say that a car hauler was parked in front of Capitol Nissan and was in the process of unloading cars when a Fiat collided with the back of the car hauler.

The car then started to go up in the car hauler before falling on its side.

A woman in the car was flown to UK. A man and two children were taken to Frankfort Regional Hospital.

Missing Person Cause of Death Announced in Case of Missing Whitley Co. Man

The body of a missing Whitley County man was found Saturday.

The body of Joel S. Moses, 48, was discovered about a mile away from where his truck was left unattended.

He was reported missing on March 7th.

The coroner says that the cause of death was drowning.

Deputies with the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department will continue the death investigation.
