There were two children in the building at the time – a nine-year-old boy and a 14-month-old girl – and neither were harmed. The nine-year-old was the one who called 9-1-1 after the shooting.

Police say the possible robbery at the ABC Gold Games and More Pawn Shop in the city’s downtown occurred Friday morning. The glass in the front door of the business was shattered.

Police say they are looking for a white male, between 40 and 50 years old, who was wearing a camouflage jacket. They say he is heavy set and described as having a pot belly.

Several businesses and schools, including the Boyle County Courthouse, Boyle and Danville school systems, EKU Danville and Centre College were temporarily put on lockdown. All have been lifted.
