Private Detective, Meth Materials Found in Jessamine County Shed

Some Jessamine County homeowners made a surprising find after chasing trespassers off their property. They found ingredients commonly used to make meth.

It happened Wednesday night at a home on Taylor Ridge Road, near the Kentucky River. Jessamine County Sheriff’s Deputites tell LEX18 the people who live in the home spotted a trespasser near a shed, ran after the person and followed them in their car.

The homeowners ran into a deputy on patrol. The deputy eventually pulled over a car he thought was involved, but didn’t find anything suspicious in the car. The deputy did find several ingredients commonly used to make meth in the owners shed.

Deputies tell us there wasn’t anything cooking inside, but they believe the suspects may have been planning a cook there.

At this time, officials do not have a good description of the suspects.
