Officials are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery at a Lexington bank Wednesday morning.
Police say two men came into Peoples Exchange Bank on Richmond Road just after 11 a.m., showed a handgun and demanded money. Police say they ran toward an apartment complex. It’s unclear how much they took off with.
Officials only have a very vague description of the suspects, whom they describe as two men wearing bandanas and grey hoodies.

That’s the same description police have of two suspects in an attempted robbery at the Check Advance on Versailles Road that happened only about a half hour earlier.
Police are not releasing any other details at this time or saying if the two robberies may be connected.
