We are following a developing story of two people who have been shot in Lexington Wednesday afternoon.
It happened in the 2100 block of Coburn Blvd around 4:15 p.m.
We’re told one of those two people has life-threatening injuries. Both have been taken to UK Hospital.
Investigators are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.
About half a dozen police cars, the canine unit and detectives have been on scene for the last two hours. They are concentrated on an apartment where the shooting happened, according to neighbors.

Initial reports were that four people were involved. Two ran away on foot and two fled possibly in a vehicle.
Neighbors said the man who was shot was bleeding and hurt badly and the woman was talking with people.
