Six people were arrested Tuesday as part of a drug bust in Irvine.
Irvine Police executed a search warrant at Roses Body Shop on South Irvine Road after an investigation into “high volume” drug trafficking at the location.
The investigation was a top priority because police say the shop is located less than 100 feet from the South Irvine Elementary School and school was scheduled to start on Tuesday.

Jack Cockrell was charged with several counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.
Thomas Scott Reeves, Karen Wilson, Cheryl Embs, Blaine Martin and George Fox were also arrested and charged in connection to the drug bust.
The investigation is ongoing.
