For firefighter Tim Goble, losing his 8-year-old daughter, his mother and stepfather in a house fire over the weekend is something he still can’t come to terms with.
“It just seems unreal, like a nightmare I’m waiting to wake up from,” he said.
Goble says his daughter, Trinity, lived with his mother, Tina, and his stepfather, Junior. All three were inside the home when it went up flames Sunday.

“The fire was just doing what fire does,” he said. “I can only blame the person who set the fire.”
According to a citation, state police arrested 41-year-old Jack Smith in connection to the fire on Upper James Lane. He’s facing three counts of murder, one of robbery, and one of tampering with evidence among other charges.
Goble says Smith was a family acquaintance.
“I quickly found out that there’s no way to ever, ever prepare for something like this,” he said.
He says Trinity had just started the third grade and he was supposed to spend the day watching basketball with her. Instead, he’s picking out headstones and remembering the inseparable bond all three shared.
“Honestly, those three were inseparable,” he said.
