The Kentucky State Police have arrested a Mount Olive, North Carolina resident after receiving a report involving the possible kidnapping and sexual assault of a 15-year-old female juvenile.
The Kentucky State Police received a report which involved Larry T. Swinson Jr. traveling from Mount Olive, North Carolina to meet with a 15-year-old female juvenile in Louisa, KY. It was also reported Swinson was engaged in a sexual relationship with the juvenile and had planned on taking her from Kentucky to another state.

Police tracked Swinson to a local hotel in Grayson, Ky. Troopers responded to the location and located both Swinson and the juvenile. At the time of the arrest, Swinson was also in possession of several pills.
On September 21, Larry T. Swinson Jr, was arrested and lodged in the Carter County Detention Center and charged with kidnapping, rape, and possession of a controlled substance.
Additional charges are pending in North Carolina on completion of this investigation.
