Franklin County Deputies arrested Clarence David Moore, 66, of Frankfort Ky. on Monday.
They say Moore had escaped from a North Carolina prison 40 years ago.
He also had an arrest warrant out for him in Franklin County for Contempt Of Court.

Moore was arrested and transported to Frankfort Regional Medical Center to be medically cleared before being transported to Franklin County Regional Jail.
