Private Detective: Laurel County Deputies Search for Theft Suspect

Deputies in Laurel County are searching for a man who they say committed at least two large scale thefts at a Walmart this month. The first theft happened on May 1 at a Walmart near Corbin. Deputies say A man took over $1,446 worth of electronics, tools and equipment. Then deputies say the same man committed another big theft just 5 says later on May 6. Deputies believe he took over $2,367 worth of goods from the same store. Security cameras captured the man leaving the store with a buggy full of items both times. He drove a dark colored car, possibly a Chrysler 300. The items stolen included routers, batteries, chargers, electronic tools and equipment, and Duck pants. Anyone with any information regarding this suspect is asked to contact Sgt.
