Frankfort Police are investigating a robbery that resulted in one person being shot.
Police say they were called to the 100 block of Landings Drive to investigate a call of shots fired around 5 a.m. Monday morning. Shortly after receiving the first call, a second call confirmed that a male subject had been shot outside 115 Landings Drive.

The victim stated to investigators that he had been sitting in a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of 115 Landings Drive when an unidentified male opened the door to his vehicle, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. The victim reported that he jumped out of the car and started to run from the scene in an attempt to get away from the robber. As he was running from the scene the assailant began firing at the victim, ultimately wounding him.
The suspect was described as a tall, skinny, male with his face disguised. If you have information, contact Lexington Police.
