A man associated with a Lexington Church has been accused of having sex with a teenage girl he met at the church.
Tony Sasnett is listed as the Bible study director at Greater Faith Apostolic Church. Now he is in jail facing multiple counts of third-degree rape.
Lexington Police say, 39-year-old Sasnett, asked the girl who is younger than 18-years-old, to send him nude pictures of herself. Detectives confirm that the victim is someone that Sasnett met in church.

According to the victim, she and Sasnett had sex five different times.
Sasnett ran an in-home Bible study for Greater Faith Apostolic Church. He was arrested Thursday at his job at Allied Communications on Werne Drive.
He declined to speak with LEX 18. Sasnett’s attorney pleaded not guilty to the charges and waived formal arraignment. He will be back in court February 23.
