Private Detective: Man Arrested in Connection With Lexington Robbery

Lexington police arrested a man for his involvement in a robbery last week.

Investigators have charged Rahmeece Woods, 18, with Robbery, 1st degree.

Detectives say they were able to identify Woods as one of the three suspects who robbed the City National Bank on Walden Drive. Police say that on May 10th, three men entered the bank, one displaying a handgun, and they demanded money.

The three fled into the woods after the robbery.

Woods was in Nicholasville and is currently in the Jessamine County Detention Center.

This investigation continues as detectives work to identify and locate the other two suspects.  Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to call police at (859) 258-3600.
