An investigation is underway in Adair County after officials say they found two men inside a house with gunshot wounds.
Around 1:20 Saturday morning, state police were called to Burnett Road in Columbia. When they arrived, they found Christopher Janes lying in the front yard with a gunshot wound to the head. Dustin Coomer was found upstairs with a gunshot wound to the upper torso, according to troopers.

Troopers say the two were in an argument when Janes shot Coomer, before shooting himself.
Both men were flown to the hospital where Coomer is stable. but Janes is listed as critical.
The case is still under investigation.
