Several people in Lexington have reported car break-in in the last few weeks.
Linda Cimino told LEX 18 that her purse, checks, and other valuables were stolen from her car as it was parked at Shillito Park.
Cimino said that what happened to her and several other victims may fit the mold of the Florida-Based “Felony Lane Gang.”

They are named that because they would typically use the farthest lane at the bank and impersonate the victim to take out money.
Police are investigating. They say that the gang did hit Wellington Park last month.
“It’s a little unnerving because this is a place where we all come and we all enjoy being here. This is part of our community. It’s our baseball family, and it’s unfortunate these people are taking advantage of the trust we have with each other,” said Cimino.
