An investigation is underway in Knox County following a standoff that lasted more than 11 hours.

50-year-old David Wilson was arrested and charged after getting taken into custody on Saturday morning.

This started on Friday afternoon at 2:40 pm when Barbourville Police officers received a call of a possible domestic complaint at a Shell gas station across the street from Knox Central High School. Employees at the gas station say Wilson had a gun and knife on him.
