Private Detective: Man Arrested After Multiple Crashes and Pursuit of Dump Truck

State Police says a Calvert City man was arrested after a pursuit involving a dump truck.

Around 1 p.m. Friday, KSP responded to the area of the 16-mile marker of I-24 to assist the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department in a pursuit.

They say that before the pursuit, multiple calls came into the McCracken County Dispatch Center about a dump truck going the wrong way on the interstate.

KSP says multiple collisions were reported involving the dump truck at various locations in McCracken County.

Upon the arrival of troopers near the McCracken/Marshall County line on I-24, KSP says troopers took the lead in the pursuit which continued into Calvert City. It ended near the intersection of Highway 1532 and Highway 62 where the dump truck became disabled.
