Private Detective: KSP Investigating Fatal Pike Co. Crash

KSP says that a man is dead following a crash in Pike County.

They say the collision occurred during the evening hours of Tuesday. The investigation indicated that a 1990 Ford Ranger was traveling west on State Highway 194 E when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a metal pole before overturning.

The passenger in the car, 63-year-old George Gooslin, of McCarr, was pronounced dead at the scene.

KSP says that evidence at the scene indicated Gooslin was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision.

The operator of the vehicle fled the scene on foot and could not be located, according to KSP.

The collision remains under investigation.
