Police say a man confessed to killing a baby Friday.
Around 8 a.m. emergency crews responded to the call of an unresponsive 3-month-old child.
The child was transported to Norton’s Hospital, where it died.

Upon investigation, police say the victim’s mother’s boyfriend, Cody Bates, admitted to murdering the child.
There are no other suspects in the case.
