Warren County Sheriff’s Office discovered a stolen firearm and drugs during a traffic stop on Saturday.
The Sheriff’s Office reports around 12:42 deputies stopped a Honda Accord for careless driving and an obstructed license plate on Russelville Road near Veterans Memorial Highway.

Deputies discovered a firearm in the front seat that they soon learned was stolen. Reportedly they also found Methamphetamine and Gabapentin pills in the car when they conducted a search.
28-year-old John Paul Waterson of Morgantown was arrested and charged with a number of offenses, including Receiving Stolen Property (firearm) and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree.
