A children’s entertainer is alleged to have confessed to wanting to rape, kill and then eat a child.

Ronald Brown made the horrific confession to a pedophile as they talked about what they would like to do with young children.

The 57-year-old, who worked as a puppeteer, lusted after young children and spoke about his fantasy of killing and cooking the body parts of a young boy in an online chat room.

According to an arrest affidavit Brown said he would like to tie the child up, store him in a closet and then eat him at Easter.

He describes in graphic detail what he would do to the boy, how he would cut him up and says: ‘He would make a fine Easter feast.’

In another chat, Brown allegedly remarked how great summer time is because the children in his Florida neighborhood are ‘almost naked.’

In another thread, Brown remarked about how his ‘mouth watered’ while looking at a female toddler.

Local station WTSP reports that Brown also allegedly asked a Kansas City man to assist him in abducting and then murdering a child.

The man, identified as Michael Arnett, was arrested and charged with producing child pornography.

According to documents, Brown was targeting a little boy at a local church near where he lived in a mobile home part in Largo, Florida.

He allegedly told FBI agents, he wanted to ‘eat’ the child.

Brown also admitted in the documents that he wanted to strangle children, that he was in a group on Yahoo where he discussed his fantasies online.

According to the arrest affidavit Brown works as a puppeteer, performing at elementary schools, malls, church groups and private birthday parties.

Police and FBI agents became aware of Brown’s alleged plans during a child pornography investigation that originated in Massachusetts and resulted in the arrest and conviction of 48-year-old Robert Diduca.

While monitoring chat rooms they came across Brown discussing his fantasy where he discussed in graphic detail what he would like to do with the dead bodies.

When police raided his home they found child pornography images on his computer and a CD that had been stashed in his sock drawer.

The images allegedly showed images of dead children and children that had been posed in bondage positions.

Brown is being held by U.S. Marshalls in Pinellas County jail and due in court today(Tues).

Neighbors at the mobile home park told Tampa 10 News they were shocked.

Robin Fuchs, was both terrified and disgusted when she heard the details of the case.

She said her children and others play in the area all the time.

Missing Person Brittney Wood UPDATE

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Brittney Wood’s mother said she wants her daughters missing persons case upgraded to a criminal investigation.

Chessie Wood believes there is foul play suspected in her daughter’s case, and she wants authorities to acknowledge it.

“I believe her being listed as a missing person does knock her down on the priority level,” said Wood.

Mobile police said they follow leads and keep in contact with Wood’s family. But right now, she is considered a missing person. There isn’t a criminal investigation involving the missing teen.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

“All indications are… is that she is out there somewhere just not coming forward,” said the Mobile Police Department Spokesman Chris Levy.

Chessie Wood said she’s asked police why her daughters case isn’t considered to be criminal.

“They said to swap it over to a criminal case, there has to be foul play proven. So I asked them could they prove to me there wasn’t foul play? And that is where we are kind of bumping heads right now,” said Chessie Wood.

There have been a number of Brittney’s family members arrested since she has disappeared. None of them have been criminally linked to Brittney. But Wood thinks police should take a closer look what happened shortly after her daughter disappeared.

“She walks out my door May 30, Her uncle commits suicide two days later. He’s the last one she’s seen with,” said Wood.

Brittney’s mother believes foul play can be linked back to when Brittney’s uncle Donald Holland was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound on June 1. He died in the hospital June 4.

Wood’s family said Brittney was last seen heading to Baldwin County and the Styx River area with Holland.

Police have noticed all the activity surrounding Brittney’s case. But it hasn’t changed her case status.

“I mean, it was interesting how obviously there was some things going in there family. A family member commits suicide. There have been a number of arrests with other family members. It is interesting; but we don’t have anything right now that says that he’s in any sort of trouble,” said Levy.

Wood’s mother believes upgrading her daughters case to a criminal investigation would bring more resources to the investigation. And hopefully, bring her daughter home

“She only had me one grand baby, and I’m hoping that baby could at least be able to visit her mama. My worst nightmare is to be Natalee Holloway’s parents never to bring their child back,” said Wood.

Browsing through the personals and casual encounters section on Gainesville’s Craigslist page Thursday morning, Demarquarius D. Truitt clicked on a post titled “yung 1 all by herself.”

At 1:22 a.m., Truitt, 23, sent an email to the original poster, who was looking for a man.

“What’s up, let’s have some fun,” he wrote.

He then asked for the woman’s age.

“Im 14 is that 2 yung 4 u?” the girl wrote back.

Truitt then asked for the girl’s number and began texting her about plans to get together.

“We just gonna have good sex den I’ll bring you back,” he wrote.

Around 4:20 a.m., Truitt drove to meet the girl but was greeted by Gainesville Police, who arrested him.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

In a press conference Monday afternoon, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office identified Truitt, David A. Hurtt, Michael S. Smith, Dylan T. Kestel. Pierce C. Harrell and Dennis T. LaRoche, as suspects arrested by officers from ASO, and Alachua and Gainesville police departments during a five-day Internet sex sting that ended earlier that day.

The operation, code named “Operation Tailspin,” began on Wednesday afternoon with about nine officers posing as 12- to 14-year-old children online.

For the next few days, detectives exchanged emails and text messages with the male suspects.

During the conversations, the suspects talked about having sex with the girls.

Police lured the suspects to designated meeting spots and arrested them during the five-day operation.

The suspects are currently facing felony charges, which include using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony, using a computer to solicit a child and a parent, and traveling to meet after using a computer to solicit a child and guardian.

“This is something that we take very seriously here in Alachua County,” Alachua County Sheriff Sadie Darnell said at the press conference.

The sting used a grant worth about $400,000 to lure the online sexual predators and arrest them, she said.

ASO reports gave these accounts of police arresting the suspects:

Harrell, a 19-year-old UF student from Plant City, believed he was talking to a 13-year-old girl about meeting to have sex. He later admitted to police he traveled to have sex with the girl but did not have plans to go through with it. He was in Alachua County Jail and met a $3,000 bond.

Hurtt, 20, drove from Jacksonville thinking he was going to have sex with a 14-year-old girl.

During a text message conversation Thursday, Hurtt asked the girl if she had condoms, writing he had one and “will probably need at least two or three,” according to the report.

Hurtt is in jail with a bond set at $750,000 as of Monday night.

Smith, 24, drove from Chiefland to Gainesville thinking he was going to have sex with a 14-year-old.

Smith later admitted he drove to Gainesville to have sex with the girl but suspected the exchange was a joke by his friends.

As of Monday night, Smith is in jail with a bond set at $500,000.

Kestel, 20, believed he was talking to a 12-year-old girl and her guardian.

He drove from Lady Lake to meet and have sex with the girl.

Kestel later told police he denied having any intentions of having sex with the girl, according to the report.

Kestel is in jail with $500,000 bond as of Monday night.

LaRoche, 30, thought he was talking to a 13-year-old girl who was home alone.

He drove from Lake City to Gainesville to have sex with the girl, according to the report.

LaRoche was in jail but he met his $3,000 bond.

The sting was the second online sexual predator operation conducted by ASO this year, said ASO Spokesman Art Forgey.

In February, police arrested 23 suspects in a similar online sting titled “Operation Tail Feather,” according to Alligator archives.

Darnell urged Alachua County parents to monitor their children’s Internet activity and to notify authorities if they find anything suspicious.

“The mission of the Alachua Sheriff’s Office and the other law enforcement agencies within Alachua County is to lure these individuals and make sure that we take them down,” she said. “We want them to know that this is not the location to come and victimize children.”

Identity Theft Joshua Lilly

CROSSVILLE (WATE) – A retired school teacher called 6 On Your Side after a former student ran into a road block trying to restore his identity.

If someone is using your identity illegally, it takes patience, perseverance and knowing who to contact to get your name restored. It’s even more complicated if you don’t have access to a computer or a car, and you hit big hurdles along the way.

http://liarcatchers.com/identity_theft_investigation.html

Retired school teacher Lourdes Dunaway has been helping her former student, Joshua Lilly, wade through red tape for the last three weeks. Someone in Virginia is using his Social Security number.

Josh, a 24-year-old high school dropout, lost his wallet two years ago. He has part time jobs, makes only several thousand dollars a year and lives in public housing since his salary is below the poverty level.

Earlier in July, Josh was told he could lose his apartment because Social Security records show that Joshua Lilly made over $24,000 last year. That makes the real Joshua Lilly ineligible for public housing.

“I said this is identity fraud. This is identity theft. This is a big thing,” said his former teacher, Lourdes Dunaway.

Josh says he’s estranged from his family so he turned to his friend, Mrs. Dunaway for help.

The first place they visited was the Social Security office in Crossville. The earnings show that in Chester, Virginia someone using Josh’s name and Social Security number worked at two places last year.

Josh says he wouldn’t have known how to get this information. “She’s done basically everything for me so far. I had no clue where to go or who to talk to.”

The Crossville Housing Authority told Josh and Lourdes they needed proof his identity had been stolen and verification from authorities in Virginia. So they visited the police department next.

Josh filed a police report, believing it would be sent directly to authorities in Chester, Virginia. That’s where he hit a road block.

“They basically said it was up to me. That’s what is confusing. They say go to the proper authorities. I went to the proper authorities, and they tell me it’s up to me,” Josh said.

“That bothered me that they wouldn’t send the report to Chester, Virginia,” Mrs. Dunaway said.

She was told only someone with authority could send the report. Josh was told it was up to him to send it.

“They needed the police report and this document that shows that man has been working under his name,” Mrs. Dunaway said.

All this time, Josh’s biggest fear was losing his apartment. “It’s been stressful. It’s scary, you know,” he said.

Mrs. Dunaway contacted the district attorney’s office, which in turn authorized Crossville police to fax the report to Virginia.

Housing Authority Director Don Alexander said they’ve seen ID theft cases before among their residents and have worked through the issues without evicting anyone.

He says once the police report is sent from Virginia to his office, he’ll send that information to HUD, resolving the issue.

“That’s good,” Josh said. “I hope this gets it resolved.”

“This is step one,” Mrs. Dunaway added.

Here’s what to do if your identity is stolen. First, contact the Federal Trade Commission and complete the complaint form.

Then report the crime to law enforcement and show them the complaint form.

Place a fraud alert on your credit reports, and contact your financial interests such as credit unions and credit card issuers.

Missing Person Found Dead in Northland Creek

A 75-year-old Alzheimer’s patient walked away from his Kansas City, North, nursing home Sunday and later was found dead in a creek bed more than a mile and a half away.

There were no signs of foul play, said police, who were awaiting autopsy results to show the cause of death for George Macias.

Employees at the Cherry Hills nursing home at 724 N.E. 79th Terrace reported Macias missing just before noon Sunday. He apparently had been gone a while. A witness reported seeing a man matching his description on Northeast Barry Road at 11:30 a.m.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

Police searched for hours in temperatures above 100 degrees to try to find Macias.

Just before 9 p.m., volunteers with the Missouri Search and Rescue canine unit found Macias face down partially in a creek behind a home in the 2100 block of Northeast Barry Road. It looked as if he fell, police said.

Macias was wearing an ankle monitor, but police said they were told the monitor sounds an alarm from the bracelet, not at a device inside the nursing home monitored by employees.

Macias had wandered away before, police said.

Electronic Surveillance Captures Armed Robber in Tulsa

TULSA, Oklahoma –

Police are asking for help identifying a man caught by a surveillance camera just before attempting the armed robbery of a Tulsa truck stop.

The attempted robbery happened Thursday, July 19, around 9:40 p.m.

Police said the suspect entered the Flying J Truck Stop at 121 North 129th East Avenue, wearing a paint ball mask.

They said the suspect threw a bag on the counter, demanding the cashier put money in the bag. He then drew a gun and pointed it at a customer, who was standing in line. The customer then took the gun away and the suspect ran away.

The picture TPD released Monday is from a surveillance camera in the parking lot. It caught the suspect before he entered the store and before he put on the mask.

In that robbery, two armed men, wearing masks, demanded money and ran out the front door after the clerk complied.

Missing Person Keiosha Felix

The disappearance of Duson resident Keiosha “Red” Felix has been reclassified as a missing person case.

Assistant Police Chief Gerald Credeur said law enforcement now believes the 15-year-old is not a runaway, as they first suspected when she disappeared on April 30.

Felix’s cell phone has been turned off since that evening and she has not been on the social media website Facebook since, which is highly unusual, Credeur said.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

Anyone with information about Felix is asked to call the Duson Police Department at 232-9211 or The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
