Missing Person Two Year Old Noah Chamberlin of TN

The search for a 2-year-old boy who wandered away from his grandmother three days ago has been opened to law enforcement statewide.

Noah Chamberlin has been missing since Thursday afternoon while walking in the woods in the Pinson community with his grandmother and 4-year-old sister.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tom Mapes told The Jackson Sun there was no update overnight. Use of civilian volunteers in the search has been temporarily suspended.

Law enforcement from multiple state and local agencies, as well as volunteers from across the mid-South, have been searching around the clock since he was reported missing.

Mapes said “much prayer” is needed for Noah’s safe return.

Accident Reconstruction Clays Mill Road Crash

Two people were transported to the hospital after a serious crash on Clays Mill Road.

It happened just after 11:30 on Monday. Fire officials tell LEX 18 that two vehicles were involved in the crash. One of those cars, a pick-up truck, went off the road and over a sidewalk before striking a tree. The pick-up caught fire after the crash.

An off-duty Estill County EMS worker witnessed the crash and helped pull the driver and passenger out to safety.

The driver and passenger were taken to the hospital. One has life-threatening injuries.

Crash Reconstruction Units are currently on scene. There is no word on the conditions of the people in the second vehicle.

Private Detective: Man Arrested For Stealing Cars From Manchester Car Lot

One Laurel County man was arrested for stealing a vehicle Sunday night.

Sheriff’s Deputies received a call that a vehicle was sitting on J Chestnut Road. The caller said that a man got out of the vehicle and started running when the caller stopped to see if he needed any help.

Officers arrived at the scene and located the man in the driver seat. After conducting an investigation they determined that the vehicle, a 2001 red colored Lincoln four-door, had been reported stolen to the Manchester Police Department.

Officers at the scene located numerous sets of car keys that police say belonged to cars at the car lot where the Lincoln had been stolen.

Harry Castle, 23 of London, stated he had stolen the car from a car lot in Manchester.

Castle was determined to be under the influence.

He was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and public intoxication. He was also charged on a Clay County warrant of arrest obtained by the Manchester Police Department charging him with burglary, 1st degree and theft auto.

Police say Castle broke into the car lot office and stole keys to cars. He took three cars valued over $500.

He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Officers say a second subject was arrested. They say he had just gotten out of the vehicle when deputies arrived at the scene.

He was identified as Franklin Parks, 25, of Corbin.

Parks was charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000.

He says that he was in the vehicle with a friend who had stolen the vehicle and that the two had ran out of gas on J Chestnut Toad.

He was also charged on a Knox County bench warrant of arrest for nonpayment of fines regarding a charge of fourth degree assault.

Pedophile Tracking Veneta, Oregon Man Arrested in Child Sex Sting

Investigators from the Springfield Police Department arrested 28-year-old Justin Richard Waldrip Friday on multiple charges stemming from an online sexual predator sting operation, according to a department news release.

Authorities say a Springfield Police Detective posing as a 14-year-old girl corresponded online with Waldrip over a two day period and during those online conversations, police say Waldrip “expressed his desire to engage in sexual contact with a known minor and arranged to meet her.”

According to the report, Waldrip showed up at a predetermined location with the belief he was meeting the minor for the purpose of sexual contact. He was instead met by detectives from the Springfield Police Department and taken into custody.

Waldrip was charged with Online Sexual Corruption of a Child 1, Two counts of Online Sexual Corruption of a Child 2, Attempted Use of a Child in a Display of Sexually Explicit Conduct and two counts of Luring a Minor.

He was lodged at the Lane County Jail.

Private Detective: Lexington Gas Station Robbed After Clerk Buys Suspect Coffee

Lexington Police are searching for the suspect of a Sunday morning gas station robbery.

Investigators say a man walked into the Shell station at the corner of New Circle and Broadway around 7:15 a.m.

The clerk told police that the man didn’t have enough money for coffee and was lingering inside of the store. The clerk bought the man coffee and he then left the store. The man came back to the Shell without the coffee and robbed the gas station while threatening the employee with a knife.

Police say the suspect is a white male in his 30’s, with facial hair, and wearing heavy winter clothing.

Forensics was called for potential fingerprints.

Private Detective: Woman Accused of Hiding Boyfriend’s Dead Body Indicted

The Pulaski County woman accused of concealing her boyfriend’s death has been indicted on 7 charges.

According to the Commonwealth Journal, 51-year-old Teresa Owens now faces charges of tampering with physical evidence, abuse of a corpse, and resisting arrest, among others.

According to police, Owens kept the body of her boyfriend, Gary Ray Jenks, inside a freezer in the couple’s home on Happy Ridge Road for weeks after his death.

The newspaper reports Owens said she panicked after Jenks suffered a stroke and was embarrassed by her messy house so she ordered a freezer and stored his body there until it was discovered weeks later.

Missing Person Carson May of Davis, CA

Search and rescue crews are still looking Saturday for a 23-year-old man who went missing Thursday afternoon while skiing at Sugar Bowl Resort at Donner Summit.

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office on Friday identified the skier as Carson May, of Davis, Calif., who works at Sugar Bowl’s Mountain Sports Learning Center as a ski school instructor.

“There are 43 searchers on the mountain. There’s high avalanche danger in certain areas, which won’t be searched for now,” according to a PCSO statement at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

The search resumed at 7 a.m. Saturday. Teams looking include those from the PCSO Auburn and Tahoe stations, Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue, Tahoe Avalanche dogs, Contra Costa County Search and Rescue, National Ski Patrol, and Sugar Bowl ski patrol.

PCSO officials said May got lost after his last ski run Thursday while working at the resort.

“He did not show up for his ride home, and it was discovered (Friday) morning that he never made it home last night,” according to a PCSO statement Friday. “His belongings are still in his locker at the resort.

“May was last seen wearing a blue Colombia jacket, bright green pants, and a blue helmet.”

Sugar Bowl officials on Friday said May was reported missing at about 10 a.m., once his friends realized he did not make it home the night before.

Ski patrol, PCSO officials and TNSAR volunteers began searching Friday morning by ski, snowmobile and Snocat, according to Sugar Bowl, focusing in and around the last known area of the missing skier.

A search helicopter was flying over there resort’s backside on Friday. It will return Saturday should weather conditions allow, according to PCSO.

“Sugar Bowl Resort is in communication with the family, and the active search for the missing skier is currently ongoing,” officials said Friday afternoon.

Missing Person Yolanda Marie Redic of Tyler, TX

The Tyler Police Department is asking for assistance locating a critical missing person. Yolanda Marie Redic was last seen in the area of Robbins and Lyons street at 6:30 a.m. in Tyler. She is described as a black female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with dreadlock hairstyle and wearing a green sweater and blue jeans.

Private Detective: Lincoln County Woman Charged With Stabbing Husband

A woman is behind bars after police say she stabbed her husband. It happened around 7:30 Friday night on Flatwoods School Road in Lincoln County.

Police say 33-year-old Gail Adams was detained by her husband by the time police arrived. Arrest reports say the husband was stabbed in the chest and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to officers, Adams admitted to the stabbing.

Adams is now in the Lincoln County Detention Center on charges of assault, wanton endangerment, public intoxication, and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Private Detective: Police Searching For Woman Who Allegedly Robbed Lexington Hotel

Police are searching for a woman who robbed a Lexington hotel by gunpoint.

Investigators say the Quality Inn off of Newtown Court was robbed just before midnight on Friday.

Police tell LEX 18 that a woman entered the office of the hotel with a handgun and demanded money. She then fled the building with an unknown amount of cash.

K-9 units were used to track her but lost her scent in the parking lot of the Kentucky Highway Department building, where police believe she left in a vehicle.

Investigators say the woman was wearing a gray hoodie, gray sweatpants and a camouflage jacket.

No injuries were reported.
