Private Detective: Monday Night Shooting in Laurel Co.

Police in Laurel County are investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday around 5:00 p.m.

Investigators say that apparently a domestic argument occurred at the home of Earl and Shirley Fields involving two people who live at the residence and Shirley’s brother, James House, who lives across the road.

An altercation occurred between the three and allegedly gunshots were fired by both brother-in-laws and Earl was shot multiple times.

Earl was airlifted to UK hospital.

The investigation continues and the case will be presented before the Laurel County grand jury.

Private Detective: Whitley County Foster Mom Arrested For Getting Teens Drunk

A Whitley County woman is in jail after police found two teenagers that were in her care intoxicated. One had to be taken to the hospital.

Police went to the Clifford Canada Road home for a welfare check. They say Greg Brown and his wife Paige live there with their three foster children.

The sheriff says that the youngest of the foster children felt like something was not right, so she called a biological parent who then called the authorities.

Upon arrival, police found the two teenagers intoxicated and took one to a local hospital.

Paige Brown was arrested and charged with three counts of Wanton Endangerment and Tampering with Physical Evidence after police say she threw away a bottle of alcohol.

Police say Greg Brown was intoxicated but not home at the time of the welfare check.

Greg Brown told LEX 18’s Evan Gorman that the children are no longer in their care.

Greg Brown has not been charged in the case.

Missing Person Patrick Rohme of Greenwich, CT

Greenwich Police, Special Victims Section, are seeking information on the whereabouts of Patrick Rohme, 60, who was reported missing on Oct. 23 by a concerned family member. Mr. Rohme was last seen on Oct. 21 at Greenwich Town Hall.

He is believed to be living in a U-Haul rental van, bearing Arizona license plate AG60570. The vehicle was located, unoccupied, in the Riverside Commons Shopping Center which is off Exit 5 (I-95).

Mr. Rohme frequents the Steamboat Road pier and McDonald’s rest stops along I-95 in the Darien area.

He is described as 6’4”, with salt and pepper colored hair, a beard and pot belly. Mr. Rohme is reported to have arthritic hands.

Private Detective: Two Injured in Pulaski Co. Shooting

Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Sycamore Trail in Pulaski County.

It was around 11:04 p.m. on Saturday when KSP Post 11 was notified of the shooting.

Investigators say that Samuei Flores, 23, and Diego Martinez, 24, both of Somerset had been shot while at their residence by an unknown white male in a white vehicle who fled the scene.

Both Flores and Martinez were airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

The investigation is ongoing and does not have a potential suspect.

Private Detective: Madison Co. Man Arrested For Robbery

A Madison County man was arrested after police say he robbed a woman at knife point in front of her children.

According to Berea Police, Michael Evans approached a woman who was in her vehicle with her three small children. Evans’ arrest citation says that he pulled a knife on the woman and demanded her cell phone. The victim told police that the suspect fled on foot toward Burchwood Drive.

The responding officer found Evans in his car and attempted to place him under arrest.

According to Evans’ citation, the officer found multiple cell phones in his vehicle including the victim’s. A marijuana cigarette was also located.

Evans is now in the Madison County Detention Center. He is facing charges of robbery, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, possession of marijuana and theft by unlawful taking.

Missing Person Golden Alert Issued For Scott County Man

Authorities in Scott County issued a Golden Alert Saturday for a missing adult. Deputies say 77-year-old Wilbur Eugene Harrod was last seen leaving a friend’s home on Luke Pike in Sadieville around 2:30 Friday afternoon.

Harrod was last seen in his 1997 red Chevrolet Cavalier with Kentucky license plate 334AVW. He was wearing faded blue jeans, a dark t-shirt with a pocket, black tennis shoes, a green jacket and a black KSP hat.

He is described as a white male, 5’11”, 198 pounds with blue eyes and short white hair.

Deputies say Harrod suffers from Dementia, the onset of Alzheimers and depression.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the sheriff’s office.

Accident Reconstruction One Woman Killed in Lexington Car Crash

One woman was killed in a single vehicle accident on a Lexington road Sunday evening, according to the coroner. The accident happened on Briar Hill Road just before 9:30 Sunday evening when a car crashed into a tree.

The coroner says a couple in their 70s were traveling down the road in a van when they veered off the road and hit a ditch, along with several trees. According to police, the man was able to make it out of the van but the woman was trapped inside. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The man was taken to UK Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Their names have not been released.

Private Detective: Suspect Arrested After Shooting Man In Groin

A man wanted for shooting another man in the groin during a robbery on Friday has finally been arrested.

Officers say they arrested Stephon R-Kel Vanzant, 19, on Saturday at the Dillards in Fayette Mall.

On Friday, Vanzant and another man allegedly met for a drug deal in a parking lot off Bright Avenue. Authorities say Vanzant tried to rob the other man and then shot him.

Vanzant is charged with robbery and possession of cocaine.

Private Detective: Two Men Found Shot in Pulaski County

Police are still investigating a double shooting that happened Saturday night in Pulaski County.

Fire officials say two men were shot in the head on Scenic Vista Drive around 10 p.m. One of those men was more seriously hurt than the other, but they were both conscious when they were air-lifted to UK Hospital.

Private Detective: Lexington Gas Station Robbed

Lexington police are trying to find two men they say held up a Marathon gas station Saturday night. It happened just after 9 o’clock on Bryan Station Road.

According to police, those men walked into the gas station, got money out of the register and ran towards Northwood Drive.

They’re described as two young black men wearing camouflage ski masks. One of the men also had a gun.
