Private Detective: Pike County Man Arrested for Stealing School Bus and DUI

A Pike County man is accused of leading police on a chase while driving drunk in a stolen school bus.

Officials say the bus driver saw the bus being stolen out of the driveway of her home. The driver called State Police who later found it on KY-194 a short time later. They say the bus crossed a center line and nearly hit an officer.

That bus, police say, was being driven by 19-year-old David Farley.

An official with Pike County Public School’s Transportation told East Kentucky Broadcasting that Farley told police that “he was bringing the bus back.”

Troopers say Farley drove the bus off the road and was caught when he tried to run away. He’s charged with DUI, fleeing police and wanton endangerment.

Pedophile Tracking Former Ice Cream Truck Driver Enters Alford Plea

A former Lexington ice cream truck driver facing sexual abuse charges has entered an Alford Plea to lesser charges.

It was 2014 when Lewis Street was charged with six counts of first degree sexual assault and one count of sodomy.

Police say Street sexually abused three girls under the age of 12.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Officials say some of the charges were dismissed against Street on Friday and he entered an Alford Plea to sexual misconduct.

An Alford Plea means that Street admits there is enough evidence to convict him but still maintains his innocence.

He will be formally sentenced in December.

The commonwealth is recommending time served.

Accident Reconstruction Car Crashes Into Home on Buckhorn

A car drove into a home on Buckhorn Drive and witnesses say a man was led from the scene in handcuffs. However, Lexington Police say that the driver of the vehicle is still on the run.

It  was a rude awakening for the four people who were inside at the time. One of them was taken to the hospital to be checked out but that person is expected to be okay. One of the men inside the house says he was sitting on the end of a bed when he heard tires screeching and then heard the crash of that car coming through one of the bedrooms. He told LEX 18’s Kristen Pflum that the impact pushed him into a door frame.

http://liarcatchers.com/accident_reconstruction.html

A three-year-old child in the house was unharmed.

No one inside the house saw the driver run and at this hour he still hasn’t been found. The identity of the man seen in handcuffs is unclear.  Police do confirm that the vehicle that crashed into the home was stolen from Brook Farm Court on October 1.

The fire department is going to wait to pull the car out of the home until they can put support in. As for when the family can go back in, firefighters say that’s up to code enforcement.

Neighbors say this is the fourth time the house has been hit by a vehicle.
