Private Detective: Man Shot and Will Not Give Authorities Information

Keith Brown, 25, admitted himself into UK Hospital with gunshot wounds to his hand and leg, but wouldn’t tell police how he obtained his injuries.

After a shooting had been reported in an apartment complex off of Lakeshore Drive, police arrived at the scene to find evidence of gunshots, but no shooter – and no victim.

Nearby Henry Clay High School was on a safety alert until the scene had been cleared by police.

Brown arrived at the hospital 30 minutes after the initial call, but wouldn’t tell police any details.

His girlfriend, who drove brown to UK Hospital, lives in the apartment where the shooting occurred and did speak to police. She claims that after waking up to gunshots, Brown told her that a man had broken in and the two had fought, resulting in Brown being shot.

Police believe the shooter may have been driving a red Chevy Malibu with a temporary tag
