Missing Person Man Charged With Kidnapping in Plano Woman Case

Plano police said they charged a 24-year-old man with aggravated kidnapping in the case of the missing Plano woman Christina Morris.

Detectives executed an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Enrique Gutierrez Arochi Saturday just before 8 a.m. at Arochi’s home in Allen. Arochi was later transferred to the Collin County Jail and booked on a $1 million bond.

Police said the arrest comes after DNA evidence found in Arochi’s car came back positive matching the 5 foot 4, 95 pound woman.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

Arochi told police during the beginning phases of the investigation Morris was never in his car. Police did not say which type of DNA was in the car, but they said what they found is enough to charge Arochi for aggravated kidnapping.

The new physical evidence now moves this investigation from a missing person case to a criminal case. Investigators confiscated Arochi’s 2010 Chevy Camaro and took evidence from his home Saturday where he lives with his parents.

Police said they are still unaware of Morris’ location, and their search continues.

Morris was last seen Aug. 30 walking into a parking garage near The Shops at Legacy in Plano.

Surveillance footage from the parking garage showed a man later identified as Arochi accompanying her into the garage.

His vehicle is later seen driving out of the garage, but there was no sign of Morris. Arochi, in a previous interview with NBC 5, said he didn’t see where Morris went and had nothing to do with her disappearance.

Cold Case Man Extradited To Ohio in Murder Case

A Kentucky man arrested for the cold case murder of a woman in Ohio is heading back to the state where he is accused of committing that crime.

It was Daniel French’s first court appearance on Monday morning since his arrest last week, and French waived his extradition, meaning he is heading back to Ohio where he is accused of murdering an elderly woman back in 2012.

The 56-year-old was arrested last Wednesday in Rockcastle County, accused of killing 86-year-old Barbara Howe.

http://liarcatchers.com/cold_cases.html

Police in Ohio say back in October 2012, Howe disappeared after leaving a retirement center in Monroe, Ohio, and was found four days later dead in the trunk of her car.

French is facing several charges in the case, including abuse of a corpse and murder, with the possibility of the death penalty.

In court Monday morning, he didn’t say much to the judge and his appearance was brief. But he did sign a form waiving his extradition to ohio.

And officials in Ohio have 30 days to come here to Rockcastle County to pick French up, it is unclear at this point when they will come but we will continue to follow this story and bring you updates as more information becomes available.

Pedophile Tracking Three Family Members Arrested in Las Vegas

A metro lieutenant say a recent arrest of three family members is one of the most disturbing cases of sex crimes Metro has ever encountered in the Las Vegas Valley.

A father, his wife, and an ex-wife were all arrested on charges of creating child pornography with their young children or relatives.

This all apparently happened inside the home where they lived, according to police.

Officers were dispatched to investigate allegations of child sexual abuse on Sept. 15 where officers found two victims, a female adult and a male juvenile who were forced to perform sexual acts with their father, mother and step-mother while being video recorded.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

The incidents were reported to have occurred during a 12-year period.

Detectives of the LVMPD Sexual Assault Section initiated an investigation into the allegations and identified Christopher Sena, 47, as the suspect in this case.

On September 18, 2014, the LVMPD SWAT Section served a search warrant at a residence on the 6000 block Yellow Stone Drive where Sena was taken into custody. Investigators also recovered several electronic devices believed to have been used to store evidence.

During the course of the investigation, detectives also determined that t48 year-old Deborah Sena and 43 year-old Terrie Sena were also suspects in this case.

Deborah and Terrie Sena were taken into custody on Dec. 11. Christopher, Deborah and Terrie Sena are currently held at the Clark County Detention Center where they face numerous sexual assault related charges.

Currently eight victims have been identified related to this investigation. The victims include immediate and extended family members. Due to the 12-year time span of this case, detectives believe additional potential victims exist.

This incident remains under investigation. Anyone who has any information about this incident or who believes they may have been a victim of Christopher, Deborah or Terrie Sena is urged to contact the LVMPD Sexual Assault Section at 702-828-3421. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 702-385-5555 or on the internet at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.

Fraud Investigation FBI Arrests Man Accused of Yearslong Timeshare Scam

A 56-year-old Williamsburg man is facing 24 fraud-related charges after being accused of using stolen identities to scam resort companies out of thousands of dollars.

A federal indictment against Keith D. Kosco shows he owned or operated several timeshare or travel businesses between 2005 and 2013, operating many of them out of an office building at 335 McLaws Circle in James City County.

Kosco and co-defendant Julie L. Duffield, a Montana resident who owned and operated Professional Closing Company from 2007 to 2013, were arrested on warrants for mail fraud, wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, forfeiture and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud by the FBI on Nov. 20, court records show.

http://liarcatchers.com/fraud_investigation.html

The two were working under two businesses: Elite Equity Transfers, which charged resort companies an advance fee and transferred ownership of timeshare units to a new owner, and Resort Solutions Inc., which provided advertising and marketing services for people looking to sell or rent their timeshare units.

Kosco allegedly bundled the two services and offered them to resort companies. If a customer who already owned a timeshare unit wanted to purchase a new timeshare unit from a resort company, the customer could pay Kosco to either trade in his or her existing timeshare unit as part of the purchase or advertise the existing unit for sale or rent.

Beginning in 2009, Kosco and his employees are alleged to have used stolen identities and straw owners — representatives for owners who do not want to reveal their identities — to receive the transferred timeshares from resort companies while charging the resort companies for the service.

Kosco and his employees fabricated deeds, contracts, bank accounts, email accounts, tax returns and post office boxes under the stolen names and forged signatures, the indictment states.

In all, Kosco is suspected of transferring more than 1,000 timeshare units to stolen identities, resulting in about $822,914 in losses to various resort companies.

Resort companies began declining Kosco’s attempts to transfer timeshare units in 2012 when they realized maintenance fees were not being paid by the new owners of the timeshare units, court documents state.

The indictment maintains Kosco began using his daughter’s identity in September 2013 to transfer timeshare units. His daughter was incarcerated in Rockingham County at the time and was unaware her father was using her identity to transfer timeshare units, the indictment said.

Kosco was arrested Dec. 6 when he arrived in Miami, Fl. from Mexico, authorities said.

He was granted a $100,000 secured bond in Newport News at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and will have a trial in February, a spokesperson with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia said.

Court records show Duffield waived her right to a detention hearing Nov. 24.

Calls to Resort Solutions Inc. and Elite Equity Transfers were not answered Thursday. James City County Commissioner of the Revenue Richard Bradshaw told WYDaily on Thursday that Resort Solutions Inc. has an active business license.

Identity Theft Man and Woman Charged in NJ

A man and woman have been charged with stealing the identities of a Westfield woman and at least one other New Jersey resident and then using the victims’ personal information to open bank accounts, obtain credit cards and make large out-of-state purchases totaling tens of thousands of dollars, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park and Westfield Police Chief David Wayman jointly announced Friday.

Alphonso J. Johnson, 38, of Lawrenceville, GA., and Charmaine L. Williams, 40, of Youngstown, OH, are each charged with second-degree identity theft and second-degree theft by deception, with bail set at $250,000 and $100,000, respectively, by state Superior Court Judge Stuart Peim. Both defendants are awaiting extradition after recent apprehension in Georgia.

http://liarcatchers.com/identity_theft_investigation.html

On Dec. 1, the Westfield Police Department received information from an alleged victim who reported that a repossession company called her to inquire about a vehicle that had been rented in her name and never returned, according to the investigation. A joint investigation that grew to also involve Union County Assistant Prosecutor Scott Kraus and the Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Prosecutions Unit  revealed the existence of a second victim, a Bloomsbury resident who had her personal information allegedly stolen and used to open a bank account and credit card in her name.

The defendants also are alleged to have obtained fraudulent New Jersey drivers’ licenses with the personal information of their victims listed on them, but showing photos of the defendants. The total estimated value of the alleged thefts connected to the stolen personal information was in excess of $80,000.

Second-degree charges carry typical sentences of five to 10 years in state prison.

This investigation remains active, as it is believed that there may be additional victims. Anyone with additional information about the activities of these defendants or anyone who believes that he or she may have been a victim of a similar incident of identity theft is  urged to contact Westfield Police Detective Dennis DaSilva at  908-789-6085 or Prosecutor’s Office Sgt. Jamieson Antonio at 908-527-4641.

These criminal charges are mere accusations, the prosecutor’s office said. Each defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Pedophile Tracking Colorado Pastor Pleaded Guilty

A pastor pleaded guilty on Friday to sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.

Prosecutors say Gerald Clark’s victims include three children and two women.

The offenses date back as far as 2005 and as recently as April 2012.

Clark originally faced 10 counts, but those were dropped in exchange for a guilty plea to one count that covers all three felony counts of victims under the age of 18.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

The first young woman to come forward told police that Clark was a father figure and mentor to her. She said the sexual abuse occurred approximately 30 to 50 times between 2009 and 2012 when she was 13 to 16 years old.

Clark’s voice cracked and his wife sobbed quietly as he entered his guilty plea. Two of his victims were in court on Friday.

Clark met the alleged victim and her family at Victory Church. They then followed Clark to Jericho Ministries International that Clark ran out of his Westminster home.

She told police she came forward out of fear that there were other victims.

Clark is scheduled to be sentenced at 1 p.m. on Feb. 6.
