Wrongful Death TN Man Takes His Life After Killing Wife

A Tennessee man took his own life after murdering his wife and dismembering her body.

The murder happened north of Nashville in Springfield, TN. Officers say they found Samantha Parker’s body cut up and stuffed in a freezer in the couple’s suburban home.

They believe Joseph Parker killed his wife, then fled, but not before calling 911 to confess to the crime.

“I’ve been married 12 years. On the fourth, which would have been two nights ago, I shot my wife in the temple of her head, and I thought I killed her,” confessed Parker over the phone as he drove north towards Kentucky.

Police spotted him on the Interstate and KSP pulled him over in Simpson County on I-65. According to authorities, Parker killed himself before they could make an arrest.

Pedophile Tracking Watauga County, NC Teen Faces Several Charges

Boone police charged Jesse Colton Grimes, 17, of Sugar Grove, with several felonious child sex abuse charges Thursday, according to a news release from the Police Department.

Grimes is accused of extortion via sexting and sending sexual explicit images by an electronic device involving a minor to a Boone Police Department school resource officer.

Boone police and Watauga County school system officials said Grimes targeted children as young as 12 years old.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Officials said an investigation into digital devices that has spanned across three states showed Grimes developed a predatory pattern of behavior, according to the news release.

He was charged with felonious first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, felonious second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, felonious third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and felonious extortion.

Grimes was placed in the Watauga County Detention Center and his bond was set at $325,000. He is scheduled to be in court on Dec. 18.

“Often times we see sexual predators initiate innocent contact with our children to build trust,” said Lt. Chris Hatton, Boone Police Department Criminal Investigations commander. “They will learn our children’s weaknesses until they can compromise them and get them to send explicit images. Once that occurs, they will blackmail our children by threatening to send these images to friends, classmates and family. They may even attempt to get a child to meet them in person.”

This investigation is ongoing with the possibility of additional charges. There is a possibility of additional victims and police encourage parents to speak with their children about anyone who has contacted them or befriended them.

Other agencies involved in the investigation include the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office the Watauga County District Attorney’s Office and various out-of-state law enforcement agencies.

Private Detective: Escapee Accused in Hit And Run Crash Found in Ohio

A man who escaped house arrest for a violent hit and run crash in Laurel County, has been found in Ohio.

Terry Mullins,47, was arrested back in September, accused of hitting a teen on a bicycle while drunk driving on U.S. 25 near KY 2392.

Its been about two months since 17-year old R.J. Warren was found in a ditch on the side of the road. Now people who work in the area are relieved to hear that Mullins is back in custody.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

“He doesn’t have a conscious. He just really doesn’t care,” said Sherri Skinner. That’s what she and her husband Raymond had to say about Terry Mullins. They own the store, Elegant Touch, in Corbin across the street from where deputies said Mullins was drinking and driving when he hit R.J. Warren.

“That it could have been my child your child, any body’s child,” said Raymond.

“What a tragic accident for a child that age to happen to, somebody to be drunk and just run off,” said Sherri.

Investigators later found Mullins passed out next to his van that had a dented windshield and R.J’s bag in the grill. Back on U.S. 25, R.J. was in a ditch in critical condition. Mullins was then arrested, and put on house arrest.

“He actually got out of house arrest and took off, and they finally I heard they caught him last night,” said Raymond.

After three weeks on the run, Mullins was picked up in Cincinnati.

LEX 18 News did some digging into Mullin’s criminal history. In Laurel County alone he was convicted of Operating Under the Influence in 2003, a DUI in 2006, assault in 2008. He had also been charged four times with alcohol intoxication.

For this hit and run, Mullins is charged with assault, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to render aid and driving on a revoked license. He has pleaded not guilty.

“The police department or someone should have take justice in their hands and done something with him. He shouldn’t have even been on the road,” said Sherri.

R.J’s mother said she’s happy Mullins is back behind bars, but is worried he will yet again get a slap on the wrist. Instead of focusing on that, people here at the crime scene are thinking of R.J.

“I hope he gets well, and the man above helps him get well,” said Raymond.

Investigators said Mullins waived extradition and will be brought back to Kentucky sometime soon.

Wrongful Death KY Murder Suspect Arrested in Richmond County, NC

Deputy U.S. marshals have captured a Kentucky murder suspect in Richmond County.

Odell Altaron Robinson, 40, surrendered to authorities Wednesday morning at an 849 Wiregrass Road home outside Hamlet, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. He’s being held without bond at the Richmond County Jail pending extradition to Kentucky.

Robinson and another man are accused of shooting and killing Gregory Sawyers, who marshals described as a key witness in a federal murder trial. The fatal shooting took place in Louisville, Kentucky, on July 27, 2013.

“This is a prime example of the fine work our Fugitive Task Force does,”Bill Stafford, U.S. marshal for the Middle District of North Carolina, said in a Friday statement. “By partnering with state and local agencies, we were able to capture this fugitive so that he can be returned to Kentucky to answer for the serious crimes he is accused of.”

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

Police say Robinson and Orlando Gilmore gunned down Sawyers on a Louisville street corner. Sawyers was serving time on a gun conviction and agreed to testify against Kelly in the murder trial in exchange for a reduced sentence.

A Louisville grand jury handed down murder indictments in September and Gilmore was arrested on Sept. 23, according to multiple Louisville-area media outlets.

Both men face charges of murder, retaliation against a participant in legal process and intimidating a participant in the legal process and being a persistent felony offender.

Robinson was captured after the U.S. Marshals Service’s Western Kentucky Regional Task Force learned that the suspect was in Richmond County. Deputy marshals contacted the marshals’ Joint Fugitive Task Force for the Middle District of North Carolina, where agents located and captured Robinson.

Court records show Robinson is being held without bond in the Richmond County Jail on a fugitive warrant. An extradition hearing is scheduled for Nov. 20.

Founded in 1789, the U.S. Marshals Service is the nation’s oldest federal law enforcement agency. Deputy marshals apprehend an average of 337 federal fugitives each day, more than all other law enforcement agencies combined.

Officers from the Chapel Hill, Durham, Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem police departments, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, the N.C. Highway Patrol and the state Department of Public Safety’s community corrections, probation and parole division are assigned to the district task force as special deputy U.S. marshals.
