Missing Person Human Skull Found Near Where Holly Bobo Went Missing

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations is at the scene where a hunter found a human skull, reports WVLT news on Sunday. The location is not far from the home of Zach Rye Adams, who is currently in jail waiting trial for the murder and kidnapping of Holly Bobo of Parson, Tenn.

Holly, then 20, was last seen near her car on Swan Johnson Road being escorted into the woods by an unknown person wearing camouflage clothing, as described by Holly’s brother, Clint.

Her disappearance reached the national level and the media all but camped out in her small town in Decatur County for several weeks as they waited for updates from the TBI.

Evidence was found the following weeks after she went missing. Back in 2011 duct tape with blonde hair was found during the search for Holly. A cell phone and camouflage clothing was found inside a vehicle, and a white lunch case was found in a creek.

Early on in the investigation the police also were able to track Holly’s phone through her cell phone records, because it had not been turned off. The path went through Decatur and Henderson counties. The trace shows the phone stopping for about 15 minutes at a remote cemetery. The cell phone was eventually located along a highway north of Parsons, 8 miles from her home, and the SIM card was found a mile from there.

Five months after Adams was arrested, Sandra King, came forward and said she had seen Holly tied up and crying on a cell phone video belonging to her roommate, Jeff Pearcy. She stated she could not watch the rest of the video that Pearcy hinted was of Adams having sex with Holly. Pearcy denies ever having such a video and does not know Adams or Autry, reported the New York Daily News. Police have analyzed several phones but have not found the video.

Pearcy responded to King’s claims saying she was just trying to help her son who has been in prison for 14 years and has 24 years left on his sentence. “I have been up front and honest about everything,” said Pearcy.

The TBI strongly stated that they are not linking the discovery of the human skull to the Bobo case at this time.

Private Detective: Police Arrest Man Suspected of Two Gas Station Robberies

Police have arrested a man suspected of multiple robberies at a Lexington gas station.

Thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip the police were able to find 35-year-old William Humphrey. Humphrey was identified as a man who first robbed the Leestown Shell station back on July 14.

Police say that he walked into the gas station and pretended to buy a cigarette lighter, flashed a gun and demanded cash. Once he had cash in hand police say he took off.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

Authorities say that Humphrey struck the same gas station again on Aug. 10, this time with a crowbar, but didn’t get away with any money.

“There is a natural escalation of these types of crimes. These have the potential, as we’ve seen in recent history in Fayette County, for these to turn deadly,” said Lexington Det. Jason Rothermund.

Humphrey is facing two counts of 1st degree robbery and possession of a controlled substance.
