Missing Person Jared Lamer of Green Bay

Have you seen Jared Lamer?

The Green Bay man, a father of two, stopped at his house Aug. 27 and hasn’t been heard from since.

“This has been more worry and stress than we had ever imagined,” said his sister Gina, who lives in Milwaukee. “We just want to know that he’s OK.”

Gina Lamer said her brother likely didn’t have any credit cards and little cash with him when he left his family’s home on Sun Terrace on Green Bay’s east side in his Ford truck. He had stopped home to pick up some tools to help a friend with a project.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

She said Jared had experienced some financial difficulties related to a job loss, and he and his wife recently began a divorce case.

Lamer’s family filed a missing-person report on Aug. 29. Green Bay police are handling investigation, said Detective Capt. Todd Thomas.

Family members have checked the Green Bay area and a family hunting cabin north of the city without success. They also prepared a poster with pictures of Jared.

“We literally have spent every waking hour in the car, looking for him,” Gina Lamer said.

Lamer is 5-feet 7-inches tall and about 130 pounds. He was wearing a gray shirt, jean shorts and Dr. Martens footwear, according to family. He was driving a tan, four-door Ford F-150 pickup with chrome door handles and Wisconsin license plate ES9-395.

Anyone with information is asked to call Green Bay police at (920) 448-3205.

Private Detective: Questions Remain After Woman Pulled From Creek After Near-Drowning

Who is the woman found in a Lexington creek this morning and how long had she been there?

The Lexington couple who found the woman this morning still aren’t sure of the circumstances regarding how she got in the creek behind their house but they do know when she left here with the fire department this morning she was in pretty bad shape

Embry Howell just had a feeling something wasn’t right when she woke up to do laundry this morning.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

” My husband hadn’t left for work yet so I said run out there and see if you hear what I hear. Maybe I was just hearing things,” says Howell

But her suspicions were confirmed when she found someone splashing and struggling to keep her head above water in the creek behind their house.

“We got her out and laid her down and when we pulled her out of the water, her eyes were open and she was not breathing at all,” says Howell

A dispatcher for the fire department tried walking the couple through CPR, but Howell had trouble opening the woman’s mouth as it was clamped shut.

The situation, according to the Howells, was just so strange? How did she get there in the first place and what happened that she was in so much trouble in just knee deep water?

Despite the mystery, considering the condition they found the woman in this morning this couple says the fire department told them they expect her to make a full recovery.

Fraud Investigation Local Real Estate Scam

A new scam has made its way to the Bluegrass. If your home is listed for sale online, you could be a target for scammers.

Lisa King and her husband are selling their Richmond home. Their 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is listed through a real estate agent, but a simple Google search brings the home up on various sites. One site in particular listed the home as a rental property. Linda Cornett Craft, a Realtor, tells us the scammer could be a former real estate agent.

“It is someone who used to be a Realtor who takes advice from the field and knows how to go about convincing someone it is an actual rental property,” says Linda Cornett Craft.

Linda called the number listed on the rental post, within the hour the rental listing was removed. She advises homeowners, real estate agents and buyers alike to beware and keep an eye on the Internet.

“They need to check, especially if it’s someone they meet and they ask for cash only. Check to see if they claim to be a real estate agent. Check to see on the Kentucky Real estate Website,” advises Craft.

Private Detective. Second Lexington Courtyard Marriott Hotel Robbed

For the second time this week, a Lexington Courtyard Marriott hotel was the target of a robbery.

Police say a man wearing a red, white and blue mask walked up to the front desk of the Courtyard Marriott just off Newtown Pike and New Circle Road around 11 p.m. Thursday. The robber implied he had a weapon and got away with cash from the register.

The clerk was not hurt.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

Police searched the area, but didn’t turn up any sign of the suspect.

On Tuesday night, a man wearing a Halloween mask robbed the Courtyard Marriott location on Wall Street, off Harrodsburg Road near New Circle Road. The suspect in that robbery also implied he had a weapon and got away with cash.

Police say they can’t confirm that the same man robbed both hotels, but they say there were definitely similarities between the two crimes and the descriptions of the suspect.
